Know there are a few people on here getting the 360 version...

Thankfully not delayed by much.

"Titanfall Xbox One & PC coming Mar 11; Xbox 360 moves to Mar 25 to give Bluepoint time to put the finishing touches on the game."

That's quite good for me actually.

Apparently they've delayed it as Microsoft have bunged them $20m to do so, in order to push a few more people to get an XB1.

Said my head.

I'm surprised the 360 version needs refining.
I would have expected the XB1 version if anything.

Would be nice to know real reason.

Maybe but not had problems shipping XB1s to retailers.

Cynic in me says they want to avoid the XB1 vs 360 comparison reviews stating little differences, and highlighting less of a reason to upgrade. :-/

I think Lils spot on. Its their big trumph card and they have to maximise the impact. I'm sure it will sway a few folk to upgrade to an Xbone.

Personally i can't see that 14 days would make that much of a diffence in conlose sales.

Wait two weeks and pay ~35 or not wait and pay ~480....are 14 days worth that much to people? I think noblood has it spot on, If people have and X1 they may wait to read reviews before buying, if the reviewers can't compare it to anything then it limits the possible negative points.

Remember that MS have not released any 360 footage/images. Strikes me as odd.

Either it is because:

- 360 footage is bad (doubtful since it is Bluepoint games)
or
- 360 footage is v good (as in close to XB1)

In reply to an earlier post on 7 Feb 2014 10:52:52 GMT
"360 footage is v good (as in close to XB1)"

This^ It'll probably look very similar, only difference will be that the X1 is 900p 45fps-60fps. 360 will be 720p 30fps.

In reply to an earlier post on 7 Feb 2014 10:58:45 GMT
noblood says:
XB1 alpha was 720p.

Have they confirmed 900p for XB1?

In reply to an earlier post on 7 Feb 2014 11:09:32 GMT
720p on X1?! thats a shame. It'll probably look almost indentical then, just X1 at 60fps 360 at 30fps.

So you can buy the main reason to buy an Xbox one on the Xbox 360 and have pretty much the same exact experience ???

mmmmm

You might be onto something here!

Si, I think there's a fair amount of wavering XB1 buyers out there. I've held off for a number of reasons but lots of Xbox owners have been really looking forward to playing this. A 2 week delay may well be enough to tip a fair few off them to buy sooner than later. Especially when there are going to be bundle deals - Game have confirmed already.

There won't be a Kinect free version this year so any pride reduction is unlikely to be lower than 50 by Xmas, so you won't be saving too much by holding off I guess. All conjecture, granted.

MS is releasing an XB1 Titanfall special edition console.

You can bet they want to shift those at any cost, even if it mean paying EA a bit more money to delay the 360 version.

Ah didn't realise they were going to be doing bundle deals, I supose there could be people waiting for this game before going next gen. It wouild be interesting if someone publishes X1 sale stats between those two weeks. I've held of buying a pS4 as there are no games that i would stop me coming back to the PS3, and with M:SS coming out in June to the PS3 i doubt i'll upgrade until the next Uncharted, unless another game is released before that is not on PS3.

The point in holding off would be like me, what games are on X1 and not 360?

In reply to an earlier post on 7 Feb 2014 11:41:34 GMT
Is this a DL only version like FIFA14?

Ill try and explain

It was remarked earlier that TitanFall is set to look almost identical on on both the 360 and The Xbox One.

Titanfall is pretty much being pegged and "the reason to buy an Xbox One."

So I simply remarked /confirmed that people were saying that ..... you could buy" the main reason to buy Xbox One" (i.e Titanfall) on the Xbox 360 and have the same experience.?

In other words "The reason to buy an Xbox One" is not looking like that good a reason, if you could have pretty much the same experience on the Xbox 360.?

So all those that where waiting for this game to take the next gen leap, may not need to bother at all and continue waiting?

That clearer?

In reply to an earlier post on 7 Feb 2014 11:49:53 GMT
I understood you in the first place. I guess we'll have to wait and see. If i'm being honest, i've not really been overly impressed by the graphics of Titanfall, it doesnt look any better than BF4 on the 360 or Ghosts on the 360. Also the 6v6 is very disappointing.

"Titanfall is pretty much being pegged and "the reason to buy an Xbox One.""

Woah Woah Woah. Peggle 2 is the only reason to buy an Xbox one! :p

Nessy says:
It's 720p/60fps on both consoles, it uses the source engine.
