Actually, I am a little surprised that she is still there, but all her reviews are dated August 2011 or later, except a very old review that she deleted so isn't counting anyway. And she is still getting plenty of votes on some of those reviews.

The top of Amazon's rankings don't change very often anyway, so whenever Paul Madge gets to number one, he could be there for long enough for people to be bored with him too.

True I would have expected it to be more volatile as it is more competitive at the top end. I can understand where people have a vast number of reviews / votes (PDH etc) as there is a lot of inertia to prevent movement. I suppose it depends on what you mean as the top of the rankings (top 10 top 100 etc)
