Suggestions for a new thriller reader please

For those who've not read it, a woman's husband and baby go missing, husband turns up with amnesia and the hunt is on to find the baby.
It's a good story with a few twists and a lot more than the main plot going on. It was a real page turner for me but now I am looking for something similar.
I'm not too keen on thrillers where a police officer is the narrator or main character. I like family oriented stories... I'm open to suggestions please!

You could try Sophie Hannah or Nicci French who both write this type of book. Also, you may like Lisa Gardner- The Perfect Husband which is full of twists and turns. Mary Higgins Clark is another excellent author and has written dozens of books, all stand alone stories. Just a few to consider.

Try Diane Chamberlain - The Lost Daughter and also The Midwifes Confession; The Good Father and the Escape Artist. Not really thrillers as such, more like mysteries, but very similar to Lullaby in style. Most of her books are family orientated.

Magic Hour - Kristin Hannah.
Deceit - Claire Francis
Cry No More - Linda Howard. You might like Howard's other books as well.
River's End; Sanctuary; Carolina Moon etc - Nora Roberts

All of the above are family orientated.

I've just read Eye of Athina by Roger W Thompson. It's a bit of a thriller come spy mystery from a woman's perspective, with a love story thrown in and all set on a Greek island with all the associated imagery which really makes you feel like you're there. Not a "gritty" serial killer type book so might suit you if you prefer family oriented stories. Great for a holiday read.

Sandra Brown's books e.g. Lethal. Like Nora Roberts she writes a variety of genre, but also like Roberts her romantic suspense/thrillers are good.

what about "before I go to sleep"? It's about a woman with amnesia, and a big mistery around what actually happened to her, and a very weird, sometimes creepy, sometimes loving husband... the ending is totally shocking.

same with "Into the darkest corner" which is written in a way that makes you read on and on, as one entry is written by an usual young adult girl, and the others, written by the same girl but she has a deep case of paranoia and ocd? through the book the reader finds out what actually happened to her.
