Connected by Simon Denman is a fantastic read, especially if you're looking for a new kind of thriller.

The Day You Die Is free at the moment - usually nearly a fiver.

Try the Inner Space trilogy of books by Merlin Fraser, they are about as new and original as you can get !

A spammer and self reviewer, nice.

Lisa Unger - Beautiful Lies and Sliver of Truth. If you want thrillers about family, lies, betrayal and love with plenty of twists and turns then these will be for you. You could read Beautiful Lies on its own but the follow up story in Sliver of Truth is well worth reading.

Robert - why do you have two different accounts that you use for your shill reviews?

(A self reviewer too - nice - duly reported to Amazon - Robert - wouldn't it be more honest to own up to being the author?)

I think that most books by Robert Goddard would fit the bill for you.

Sou'Wester says:
Agree that Robert Goddard has produced some excellent thrillers, but stick to his earlier books. Unfortunately his work has deteriorated quite a lot in more recent times.

Anthony - promoing your book outside MoA isn't allowed. Self reviewing is just a pretty low thing to do.

Hi Something Beautiful, you should have a look at What Lies Within by Audrey Finch, it's a real page turner and follows Pat as she goes in search of her missing brother and finds much more than she bargained for. Its a thrilling read with a few twists and turns along the way.

Try Grave Matter and Cobra Mist. Two of the best short stories of its genre I have read for a long time.

I'd suggest to try 'The Witness for the Prosecution' by Agatha Christie, then.

Interesting 'look inside' of this two short-stories book, btw. Page of praises, and not a sentence of example of the text itself. Why?

I just read The Devil's Fan Club by Mark Kirkbride on Kindle. It's totally different. It's from the point of view of the members of a family, as a serial killer gradually gets closer... I was so impressed I read it in 2 days.

Granny Smith Investigates (revised edition)

It's Miss Marple on steroids - both thrilling and very very funny.

Anita says:
Miss Marple was created by someone else, not you. I don't find it funny - or thrilling - putting a well known character not of yours on steroids
