Hi Guys,

I got "I, Alex Cross" as a Secret Santa present and now I wonder if I should start the series from the start as I have not read any of the others before. I haven't started "I, Alex Cross" yet as I have plenty of other books to read, but I just wondered if anyone knows if they need to be read in sequence or if it doesn't matter much? Or maybe there are a couple of them to get the basics and then read my one? Not sure if I will have the time to read 15 other books before starting with the one I got?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Meike

If I was you I would start from the beginning, you will enjoy them all.
There are people/situations etc mentioned throughout the series.

Thank you Balddevil, I (kinda) was already expecting that answer - think there are very little series out there, that do not built onto their prequels.. This just makes the book a very expensive Secret Santa gift ;-)

Yeah :D. On the other hand it's introducing you to a great series of books. I can't stop reading Patterson at the minute, I only have one Alex Cross to read and am also 3 books into the Michael Bennett series oh and 5 books into the women's murder club. Enjoy.
