I wanted to buy the complete box set of Born and Bred, but, I would never pay nearly £300 for any show let alone this. I don't understand why this Sunday night drama is so expensive?

I managed to get both series on ebay for just over £30 before Christmas.I think it's just a question of keep checking.

I remember this nice gentle Sunday night serial, but then the BBC brought in a bent vicar character, then the station master got sent down for something he never did with the help of the bent vicar. The series lost its way after these stupid story lines, & we never did find out if Michael Frenchs doctor character found true love & then the BBC just stopped making it. That is why the series DVDs are so expensive NOBODY wanted to buy them because how the BBC treated the series & its terrible last episodes no happy ending you see.
