Suggest folks make checks on previous years credit card statements, I have just found I unwittingly paid the same amount on April 30th 2012 and 2011. I suppose I have to kiss that £98 goodbye even if I manage to get a refund on this years unelected payment.

Thank you Mr McDonald for your advice. I have also been relieved of £49 by Amazon Prime and have taken steps in the manner you described to retrieve this sum. Hopefully with success!!

How can so many people not read the terms and conditions and then cry when they have been charged after the trial membership ends? Its easy folks, go to my account, settings and then manage prime membership, and then untick the renewal box. IMO 94p per week for next day delivery is well worth it, of course I would rather have this facility for free, but it is hardly a lot of money.

Feel sorry that you all seem to have signed up to prime without your knowledge, I signed up without any difficulties and was aware of this, my advice is take more care where you cursor is before clicking your mouse.

I thought I could pay monthly for Amazon Prime and did not realise I'd be fleeced for a whole year. Very unhappy about this. Also why is there no contact us button for people to make such complaints.
