You can't beat the Doctor as a character. He's pretty special. And River Song is pretty awesome as well.

G. Heywood says:
Baltar perhaps from BSG (the 2003 edition). Too entertaining to dislike. Oh, and Caprica 6, and Sharon.

I thought he was pretty good in Dexter. If you haven't seen him in it, you must check him out.

Sally and Dick from 3rd Rock. Unfortunately I can't take John Lithgow seriously in anything now. Mork, of course. Red Dwarf - the lot of them.

Ford Prefect
Yoda
And PKD's 'dark-haired girl' in all her many guises.
And a shout out for Jommy Cross, who doesn't get on enough lists.

Star Trek Voyager - Complete [DVD]

I must admit I liked Seven of Nine from the series Star Trek Voyager - she looked very hot in that cat suit!

I also thought species 8472 were great - they really gave the borg a good kicking.

Great list, especially the inclusion of Amanda Tapping. She was a badda## in Stargate.

Hmm on balance, rather than Zakalwe I prefer the character of the Chairmaker. Far more interesting...

It's a bit late for today, I'm afraid, so you'll have to wait another year. And it's not so easy to find a sexy sci-fi chick, but I wish you luck trying!

Thanks for yessing me, but noers are funnier.

(Hope you'll like Brin's Uplift books, they are really good)
