Hi Sam, although the only Kristen Ashleys book I've read is 'Three Wishes', 'Motorcycle Man' sounds like something I'd read so I thought I'd recommend R L Mathewson) I love all her books, but if your not into paranormal romance you shouldn't bother with the 'Pyte Series'. Erin Nicholas also has some good stuff you could try.

Hope you find some you like. :)

Try The Faith Warrior by Suzannah John, it wasn't what I would normally read, but once I started I couldn't put it down.

Carter's Conundrums - Book 1 of Meredith Pink's adventures in Egypt
Try this - it's the first in a trilogy - perhaps a series, since the last in the current three books has only just been published. I've gobbled them up. Adventure, mystery, nicely done romance, and a touch of humour - based in modern Egypt - but based on ancient Egyptian mysteries. Great fun.

I just read 'Peace of Time' by Rosalind Rendle. It's had good reviews here and in the States and was a really good read. The ending kept me guessing until the very last minute

So, this weekend I'm treating myself to a nice new shiny Kindle and would love some recommendations on what to download however, I'm not interested in the following: fantasy, handcuffs (sex toys in general), sci-fi, vampires, pen-pushers or high-school kids. I want the real deal; men who are tdh, who have heard the chimes of midnight and looked into the abyss and still found the guts to pull themselves out, men who can handle themselves and protect their loved ones. He's capable, romantic, great in bed, is not addicted/psychotically jealous and best of all, loyal and loving. And no, getting pregnant as a plot device when there are so many forms of birth control is simply idiotic (stretch marks, fat and varicose veins are attractive?). So, what do you recommend? I'm thinking a hero who's a cross between Darcy/Heathcliff/Gabriel Oats. All suggestions gratefully received. I did download 'The Lovers' by Amber Andrews and Brad Hunter is exactly my sort of man so any more out there? Ox (UK)

The Twisted Vine Try this one. There is romance with a twist and a thriller plot. All wrapped up in French scenery amongst the vineyards of the grape harvest. 13 x 5* reviews.
