Mills and boon book (1980's?) help please

Hi

I can't remember the name of the book or the author but it was a mills and boon. The guy on the front was wearing a leather bomber jacket.

The hero is a greek guy who has been dumped by his girlfriend/fiance and whilst at her party comes accross the caterer in the kitchen. He kisses her and is interrupted by the old girlfriend. He tracks the caterer down to her cafe and persuades her to go on holiday with him to his family home. They have an affair and then his mother persuades her to leave. He is furious with his mother and goes to the cafe but the girl is leaving with her ex-boyfriend and he believes she has gone back with him. He is positive that the girl and old boyfriend will marry but his father? persuades him to go and see for himself. He turns up at her house a little worse for wear.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is driving me nuts that i can't remember. Thanks.

Anyone know an old book (most likely modern mills and boon) about a woman named maxi and at a masquerade ball she had to steal her sisters fiance away in order to protect her sister from him. She returned a few years later turning up at her sisters engagement party not having seen her family for ages and the future brother in law, I think, is the hero of the story. I thought it was called black sheep but I cannot find it. Her ex gets free and comes to find her and she has to work with the police to catch him.
any ideas would be greatly appreciated, want to see if its as enjoyable as i remember from years ago! jo

I am trying to find an old Mills & Boon book about a Sheikh who is being forced into an arranged marriage to an english girl, he does not want this as he has been married before and it was not a happy union, his wife killed herself after telling him he could not father children. The english girl he is to marry does not want the marriage either but her parent force her into it and unbeknown to her the bride price goes to them to pay debts. She moves to the middle east with him (Prince Rashid?) but has to come back to England for some reason and while there he suprises her by turning up but he thinks she has had an affair and forbids her to return with him. She returns anyway and they resume the marriage, she later find out that she is pregnant and as he thinks he can not father children he does not believe the child is his. He later consults with his doctor and finds out that his first wife lied and that he is infact the father of the child.

Can someone please tell me what the name of this book is as it is driving me insane!!!!

I think that this is by michelle reid, problably "the sheikh's choosen bride". Prince Raschid is a character in an earlier book by this author, but does pop up.

The book you're looking for is 'An Arabian Courtship' by Lynne Grahan (paperback, 12 Jan 1990).
I have the book and just reread it recently.
The prince is indeed called Rashid, and the girl is Polly.

I'm also trying to track down an old Mills and Boon book but it was the first one I ever read 16 years ago and I can't remember too many details. What I do remember is that the heroine (who I think is called Erin), goes for a job interview at a health club. She falls for her new boss during the interview. He takes her out for a meal and she ends up losing her virginity in the front seat of his sports car.

I told you I didn't remember too many details! It's the book that got me hooked on Mills & Boon so I would love to get hold of a copy and reread it.

Any suggestions?

Not sure what happend to my post above!

I am also looking for a very old Mills and Boon Book. I think the name is 'The Dove and the Grey', not sure but this title keeps springing to mind. Female lead is called 'Dove' (named after parent Donald (Do) and Vera (Ve) I think. Gives up job in blightly to work in middle east country as either nanny or companion to earn money to help parents. Meets sheikh or prince and they begin fighting with each other. Realises she loves him, he is destined to marry another by possible arranged marriage between families, runs back to England, he realises he loves her and pursues her to England, kiss and make up and live happily ever after.

One of the first Mills & Books ever read and may have a green or grey cover. Both leads are on cover with him in arab robes, I think?

Help! Please!

I'm looking for a particular book and I always thought it was written by Sheri Whitefeather, but it seems I'm mistaken.

I can't remember the title, but what I do remember is a young lady running from someone and ducking into an antique store to hide. She finds a Knife and is suddenly standing on an old Spanish Galleon. The Capt. sees her and is stabbed and killed.

In present day she runs into the Capt. (keeping in mind this is a couple 100 years later) and he winds up guarding her (This is why I thought it was called the Guardian originally), anyway it turns out she is the daughter of a demon and is to be sacrificed to him on her 18 birthday? could be 21st my memory is playing tricks lol.

Another subplot was that one of her friends is part of some organisation trying to stop the demon and is trying to kill her.

does this sound familiar to anyone? I would realy love to get hold of this book again.

Hoping someone can help me with this one:

It's about a girl returning from boarding school/university to the home owned by her stepbrother who now has guardianship of her. She brings her friend and friend's brother with her - later she is attacked by the brother and runs off.

I remember another scene where the stepbrother (the hero) leaves a birthday present of a saddle at the end of her bed. It was called "Dark Possession" or something similar as the heroine only thinks the stepbrother wants her as a possession.

Sorry I can't be more specific, but if anyone has any ideas!!

I'm looking for one, which I think is M&B but not sure. She's a widowed nurse with about 3 or 4 kids his a doctor in baby unit, theres a flood or hurricane or something towards the end of the story. As I do not usually read medical romances it was defo not billed as one.

Any ideas?
