I felt the exact same way! I'd love there to be a version from Christian's point of view.
I never read books more than once but I am halfway through re-reading Fifty Shades! Loved it.

I read 50 Shades and if you also liked it I'd suggest these two fab books The Initiation of Ms Holly and The Business of Pleasure

One of the best in the genre has to be James Hadley Chase's 'No Orchids For Miss Blandish'. It was written in the thirties or forties and it's worth reading George Orwell's review of the book (just google 'george orwell no orchids'). Basically Miss Blandish is kidnapped by gangsters and one in particular starts to show a sadistic sexual interest in the hostage. She begins to like the harsh treatment (whipping, tying, et cetera) but I won't say any more than that!!!

Annabel Joseph is the best BDSM writer for me personally. Mercy is my favourite BDSM novel. Also you can try Kitty Thomas, Claire Thompson. Some of the books are quite dark and on the edge, while others are beautiful BDSM novels. ;D

I like Portia da Costa' novels - a veteran erotic romance writer, and shortly to be republished by the revived Black Lace series. I recommend Forbidden TreasuresForbidden Treasures - an erotic BDSM romance

I am the opposite BooKLover. I prefer Kitty Thomas to Annabel Joseph and she just takes the edge from AJ.

Hi guys, any recommendations as to which Joey Hill book to read first? I loved FSOG but hate the regular chick lit so something a bit darker would be great! My normal genre is thrillers - I'm branching out! Thanks :)

Well K88mills, I'd start with her Vampire Queen series, great stories gorgeous but flawed characters and a lot of steamy scenes. Then I would try her Nature of Desire series yum followed by the harder BDSM themes of the Knights of the Boardroom. Although lots of these books are standalone, working your way through the series is definitely the way to get the most enjoyment from these highly enjoyable books. An added plus for any kindle reader, Joey's books are always very well edited without the childish grammar and spelling errors so abundant in ebooks.

you cannot go wrong with joey hill anything she writes is amazing i have read all of her books and reread most of them they are so good. i like a read that goes to the wilder darker side of life and joey hill is a must. her vampire queen series is breathtaking you will not be disappointed. also try cj roberts captive in the dark (amazing)

If starting with the Knights of Boardroom series then beware Amazon don't have two of the series on Kindle (part of collection with other authors in book format). I recommend reading Board Resolution, then Afterlife (if not going to source 2 others elsewhere) lastly Hostile Takeover.

Thanks! Fifty shades is the reason I'm looking into this genre, I loved it! I bought the first knights of the boardroom one last night and am 80% through already, it's either a short book or I'm really enjoying it! Thanks for the recommendation re the vampire queen series too, I may give this a go after the knights books. I'll keep an eye on for this discussion group for future reads! :)

I know I am going to embarrass myself once again, but what BSDM means ?

Hi French Bookworm. BDSM is short for Bondage, Discipline/Domination, Sadism and Masochism.

Thank you for answering :) I think I will pass on this kind of romance. I prefer my heroines being swept away on a white destrier, by a knight in shining armour, and ride into a happy ever ending as opposed to have them bound in chains and gagged in an underground dungeon and whipped into submission awaiting the pleasure of their evil master.... my poor heart could not take it LOL...

I was intrigued by the Knights of Boardroom though.. I like anything with knights but maybe I should pass too if it is going to be nasty.

edited to correct typos.
