The table's booked for 1pm, so that would seem to be the obvious time to get there.

While the seating wasn't conducive for us all to have a natter, lunch at Mother India's, with good food and great company, made for a most enjoyable Saturday afternoon. So many thanks to those that made the trip to Auld Reekie - I'm sure there'll be other opportunities to get together for folks that couldn't make it this time - and also to the kind people that took the trouble to burn CDs, thus putting me to shame ;-)

Peter has set the standard for future meetings - each personally selected CD in a delightful Christmas card. Maybe Mrs A had a hand in it as well, I suspect? Always enjoy these outings, and today was no exception. Looking forward to the next one, and the sarge has just got to make it. Some concern expressed about the non-apppearance of Andy D. Please get in touch to let us know you're OK, Andy.

BTW, JB, that movie I couldn't remember - 'Nebraska'; highly recommended and apologies for the senior moment.

No apologies needed - I was as bad as you, if not worse! Yep, quite fancy it and it's still on at the Cameo so I may well catch it tomorrow afternoon.

Cheers

Had a lovely time as ever with great food and company. We'll really have to find somewhere with a round table! Perhaps in Killie? ;-)
Thanks for the CDs folks, nice touch from Peter with his festive card!

Maybe a BBQ in the summer, bring your own sausage

Glad things are improving, sarge. You shouldn't be worrying about CDs, they're not obligatory!

In reply to an earlier post on 22 Dec 2013 17:45:44 GMT
Nor obligato, to make weak humour with a musical term.......

Indeed Smitty. Wish there was a way of your joining us. We'll have to start a 'Bring Smitty over' fund. ;-)

Hi Sarge - I assume that means the crisis is over? Really pleased for you, have a good one.

Sarge, I was just thinking that 'gonna be alright' didn't sound Dickensian, before realising I had the wrong Marley. Doh!
