No because they don't have the teeth for it. A lot of them have tried but after a few seconds they spit it out to avoid choking, that's why the promenades at Whitley Bay are always sticky. However they can walk and wave their arms and claws about and not look stupid like that bloke around the corner who shouts at the traffic and roars at burning sofas when he can find one to set fire to on the patch of wasteland next to "The Heedmuncha's Arms" on a saturday night.

I went to Whitley Bay once quite recently but it was shut! Really run-down, seedy armpit of a seaside toon, got straight back on the Metro to Newcastle.

Ah the memories of my childhood of the summer holidays spent with my grandparents up in the North East, visits to Whitley Bay and the Spanish City (is that still there?).

When I were a lad ... a gang of us would cycle to Whitley Bay from Newcastle (Montagu Estate) - all 11 miles of it - and think nowt about it. When we told an enquiring copper what we were doing, he asked why we weren't at home breaking the neighbours' windows or something. I honestly had no idea what he meant. The only trouble we ever caused was singing too loudly outside old Mrs Johnson's house in yet another attempt to improve our harmonising. No wonder I grew up to become a nerd...

Neph - if my real name was Mark Knopfler, I'd be off somewhere spending my money, not messing about on here!

Post Soviet...talkin'bollocks (an absurd concept immediately as they lack not only vocal cords but also the pre-requisite neurology of speech centres and so forth to even begin to generate speech..talking bollocks indeed...

however there is an interesting tumour called a teratanoma - which involves primitive cells of multiple potential and can form all sorts of other tissues within the tumour mass...eyes. teeth etc...so maybe if one was unlucky enough to develop a huge and complex teratoma in the bollocks, which..er..somehow connected up the necessary circuitary and mechanics to ..er..generate speech..and learned the language and achieved some rudimentary conciousness ....talking bollocks indeed,) anyway its a good record that Josh Pearson one, if you like really miserable break-up albums...makes Townes Van Zandt sound like Captain sensible

It's unfortunate, I was enjoying the Nephran thread even though I'd slapped an injunction on one of the participants, but then another numpty arrived and I had to press the Ignore on him too, which made things a little more complicated until yet another eejit joined in and between the three they just churn out page after page of ignored posts. Pshwah! as they say in Pshwahland.
