Does moustache belong to Rawk?
Oh yeah, just check this band, three of them remind me of Derek (bass player 'This Is Spinal Tap').

And yes, I am bored right now.

Ron Mael always did a nice line in toothbrush taches

Does it count as a tache if it joins your sideburns? Lemmy;

Neil Peart in his early days with Rush must be a contender:

The classic '70s porn star look' lip rug certainly looked cooler than the camp 'gaucho' efforts as sported by the likes of Midge Ure and his fey 80s synthpop chums.

Brass Neck says:
How about Justin Hawkins recently acquired Dick (quite!) Dastardly (and Frankie the bassist's ain't too shabby);

In reply to an earlier post on 22 Apr 2012 19:07:43 BDT
Post Soviet says:
Justin looks cool, kinda musceteerish, bass player more funny, boogie nights look.
Mercury with moustache, super macho guy image, much better than 70s longhaired shaved and 90s shorthaired shaved.
Lemmy for a short time shaved looked like........toad?
Scowling Mael (Hitler impersonator) - great!
Zappa.... can't imagine him barefaced, he gained his look at age of eleven, when he started smoking and growing facial simultaneosly!

How about Jagger or Ozzy get moustacheoed?

Brass Neck says:
Always puzzles me how/why Lemmy shaves round those mega-cysts to ensure they are fully exposed to the gaze of his admiring public!

Are they cysts or warts and why's he never had them amputated or shot off? Are they insured against such occurences?
Are moustaches gay nowadays like they were in 70s NYC?
Why do muslims and Amish men (and some women) sport those tache-less beards? Is there any woman on the face of the planet who's ever fancied a man with such face fuzz?

In reply to an earlier post on 23 Apr 2012 18:13:14 BDT
Brass Neck says:
I'm not sure that the woman's fancying or otherwise is taken much into account in either of the two religious communities you mention?!!!

For a while, Levon Helm, Richard Manuel AND Rick Danko joined Garth Hudson in being simultaneously very furry of top lip. Scary!

Nugent_Dirt says:
Yeah but they've still got to get on with it and churn out sprogs. Can some of the ladies here help. What facial hair on men is passable and what do you consider to be less than lovely. 2-3 day stubble seems to work but a lot of women went ugh when Brad Pitt went for the hobo look a while back.

I must admit that when I see a bloke trying to put on the Jason King look, all I can do is laugh. However, if a woman has a little imagination she might be able to conjour some fun while her own King-alike is trying to woo her: She could pretend that the handlebar tache is the handset of a computer game and twiddle with it. Or perhaps she might imagine that she's participating in a localised, twiddly version of 'Golden Shot'; left a bit, right a bit, FIRE!

She's got a great 'tache, and they aren't woolly stockings she wears... :-)

David Crosby's 'tache gets the Byrds 2nd prize - the winner has to be Gene Parsons (in the early 70s imagine an Earl Hickey with longer hair).

Posted on 25 Apr 2012 17:58:04 BDT
Clarence White was well endowed, 'tache-wise. Great player, too...

That chap in Husker Du had a moustache worth mentioning
