Both the Pro- and anti-Gay lobby are boring the hell out me...=) There are issues and events, other than homosexuality, of more importance to the world...

Well you bore the hell out of me and yet you're still here. I guess we just have to put up with crud sometimes.

Withnail: Indeed, but almost every thread concerning religious questions eventually ends up as an argument between pro and anti-gay lobbyists. There is an obsession with the subject as if both camps can prove their knowledge of all things religious and scientific by proving that their opinion of homosexuality is the correct one...

I can assure you that on the absence of hateful comments about the "dangers" of homosexuality there would be no interest in me talking about the issue.

Withnail: there are only three or four posters who are anti-gay. By indulging in extensive conversation with them one simply airs their views, giving them the propaganda that they desire. Why should the opinions of a few posters dictate the course of a genuine discussion? A thread dedicated to the questions surrounding the morality of homosexuality is fine; but to raise the issue at every opportunity, regardless of the purpose of thread, us nonsensical. There are cases when an pro-gay lobbyist has raised the issue simply to insult or deride a posters opinion on other matters, thus dragging the thread into a mere cat-fight.

Best not to discuss any further otherwise it will become another thread discussing homosexuality

Withnail: they obviously refuted the argument. =) People quote only that which supports their argument, regardless of whether such omissions alter the meaning and intention of the original author...

Wrong, as usual, there are a few vile homophobes posting on here who try to hijack every thread to push their repulsive bigotry, and most decent people won't allow that. It speaks volumes that your overriding concern is for yourself, egocentric as ever Gills.

Reported for homophobic bigotry, and I urge all decent people to do the same.

Please do, Mad Maz.

Let us know how that works out, won't you?

In reply to an earlier post on 20 Feb 2014 21:17:59 GMT
Spin says:
Marilyn; No, You tell me why you intentionally omitted those propositions. After all, you are the one who omitted them in your argument. ...It is up to you, not I, to defend your argument.
