I have been using these boards for a few weeks and can only assume that those who use them have a mental age of about 3...when something challenging is posted people get all arsey and go "whhoooo go away"....baby stuff....

Are you actually expecting a serious response?

Try this one. Personally I find it tedious to argue with people who make ludicrous statements to make themselves seem slightly different. So I turn to ridicule. I'm sure many others feel the same.

So we have differing view points. That's what a forum is, right?

What's the point of growing up if you can't be childish?

"I have been using these boards for a few weeks and can only assume that those who use them have a mental age of about 3..."

Have you read your own posts lately...?

The internet as a whole is pretty much screwed as a forum for debate. There are insufficient consequences for juvenility, ego, trolling and so forth to ensure people behave in a civilised manner. It resembles daydreaming and so long as everyone recognises that, it's a harmless pass time.

Whhoooo go away Simon. You're making me go all arsey.

Seriously Simon you are talking nonsense. There are plenty of thoughtful discussions on this forum just as sometimes it gets lighthearted and viscious and points in between.

Try coming back with something serious to discuss and see the responses. Go on. I dare ya.

Well, Simon, what should we say to posts like this?

"Ah....the word belief...a very high order abstraction (beyond the JK show 'types')...why do people 'need' beliefs...how can we move into the fluid...the river...be water...nothing fixed...all changing... "

This reads like a drug trip. You seem to be asking the question 'why do people need belief?', but since you then moved into nonsense about fluids, why should we expect our replies should make any sense to you, or that we should get any sensible response from you in turn? I've pretty much ignored everything you've ever posted for this reason.

Insult is the last resort of the ignorant. To be insulted or presented with childish arguments is an indication that one has successfully refuted the argument.

Not addressing my point at all, so another one for my troll list. I'm not sure what it is about Amazon that's attracting them, but hey, at least there's an ignore button.
