Poor old Spin, this is the second thread with this mean-spirited title.

Spin is alright. You just have to learn to take him with a pinch of salt.

Hi Gille,

I agree with your post entirely this forum needs Spin he is a very colorful character and his provocative posts are entertaining. He has had me laughing more than any other poster and in my book that counts for a lot.

Three cheers for Spin, especially if you want to disagree with someone.

Yep, disagreeing with someone is his speciality.

I'm on a low-salt diet. Maybe that's the problem.

what a sad thing to do.

Spin is ok. He's just the worlds best stirrer. Take him with a pinch of salt.
Have you thought that maybe you are taking things a tad too seriously

Hi Karen, Diane is not noted for her sense of humour, or anything else not derived from a catholic apologist site.

'If I have sex with a young groupie, am I a peadophile? '

Just one of his aimless nonesense comments that appear midway through discussions.

Yep Spin is alright if you like reading and responding to drivel...

Ian says:
I don't hate Spin, he starts interesting discussions and keeps them going long after they would have died by disagreeing with the prevailing opinion.

It's clear he's not actually a person; he's just a simple program deployed by Amazon to keep these forums active. Unfortunately he's still in Beta and occasionally his programming proves to be faulty; as a result he starts posting random non sequiturs.

He's complained a few times about the voting and sometimes (but don't tell him) I think he's right; people don't vote on whether a comment adds to the discussion but on whether they agree with the opinion expressed or like the person posting. But that's just the way of the world.
