Don't lie Tom, its pathetic. You know your prejudice stems from your Catholicism, your church is at least trying to move with the times, the least you can do is move with it.

> You are railroading the kids in the Denmark study.

It seems to me that Karen is only saying that people should be accepted for what they are. How they came to be that way is largely irrelevant.

In any case, according to that report, childhood family factors have a significant effect on the sexual preferences of the children when they grow up. Does this mean that the children were forced to become homosexual?

How does Karen's acceptance of homosexuality affect the family circumstances of children? How could she be railroading these kids?

Tom, haven't you heard the news, the pope says you have to love the gays now. The Pope, Tom, the Pope.

Drew Jones says:
"There is zero basis in nature for homosexual behavior."
The Denmark study as NARTH tell you to think of it says different. Homosexuality is the natural fallout of childhood trauma if their take on the statistics is to be believed.

I was thinking about the Pope's stance on homosexuality. I don't agree with his stance, but he is not my leader and plenty of others share his views. I was wondering if Tom agreed with the Pope.

The Pope made a distinction between the act of gay sex - remains a sin. And being gay, not a sin.

The point is that Tom talks about homosexual acts, but refuses to believe that people can be homosexual (and can be persuaded to stop blowing on the pork whistle). The Pope disagrees. Does Tom now maintain his stance, in opposition to the Pope, or does he have a sudden revelation?

This would be true if you define 'turn to homosexual activity' as 'enter into a same-sex marriage', but gay people are under no obligation to get married even in Denmark. Perhaps those from more stable families did not feel the need to get married themselves?

With the whole "76% more likely to turn gay if parents divorced when they were young" - in a similar vein, after the war then there should have been a near enough generation of homosexuals due to the loss of a parent when young ? Or does absent parent through death not count the same as absent parent through divorce ?
