Oh dear Tom, you are beginning to sound out of step with your church. How does that feel?

"They will show up in the HIV studies and vast sums will be spent just to keep them alive."
What costs are acceptable to keep them alive?

It is progress that an atheist doesn't still class this as 'homophobia'.

As long as he doesn't want the same rights of course.

I don't think we can Judge Tom M until god judges him.

Still, he seems to be a raving homophobic maniac. But I love him.

"Hi stu
Gay is not a kind of human being...."

If it has always been the view of the catholic church, as you say, that homosexuality is accepted, why do you think Tom and yourself make daft homophobic comments like the one above? Don't pretend, now your leader has finally made an attempt to bring the church into the 21st century, that it has always been comfortable with homosexuality. Your past posts prove otherwise.

Good to see Tom lying and misrepresenting again...

The authors of the Danish study of 2006 was very careful and reserved in their claims; shame Tom isn't.

"Dr Greeen (sic) of Harvard" isn't at Harvard and believes that monogamy in combination with condoms is the best answer to AIDS in Africa; is that in agreement with the Pope?

You have a right to marry anyone who is old enough and intelligent enough to agree to marry you (though surely requiring somebody to be intelligent and agree to marry Tom creates a Catch 22 situation?).

Desmond Tutu's stance is much better than the Pope's:

"I would refuse to go to a homophobic heaven. No, I would say sorry, I mean I would much rather go to the other place," Archbishop Tutu said at the launch of the Free and Equal campaign in Cape Town. "I would not worship a God who is homophobic and that is how deeply I feel about this."

Where do your morals come from then Tom?

K. Hoyles says:
Oh dear Tom. Again. Lifesite news, that bastion of right wing fundamentalist Christian morality. Which time after time has been accused of, well, making things up. Please expand your knowledge of the world, and read some proper studies not written by whacko fundamentalist journalists, who tend to publish any old cods to support their prejudices.

K. Hoyles says:
Tom, don't make things up about other posters to make you seem intelligently superior. It doesn't wash.
