Printer recommendation based on my requirements:

I am looking for advice on a new printer - having done lots of research, I
am more confused than when I started. Hence I thought it best to ask the
experts!

here is my useage and requirements:

1. Home user, light intermittent use (a few pages per week), colour
required but do not need to print photos (use Photobox for that)
2. Needs to work nicely with a Mac
3. Needs to have (reliable!) WIFI so I can print from iMac and MBA.
Considered ethernet network, but my router has to be in lounge to connect
to blu-ray player for on-demand films, so not in right location
4. Ideally reliable with sensible consumables costs (OK to buy genuine
cartidges if they can be bought with XL ink volumes), and happy to be used
intermittently (e.g. ink use at startup, blocking up from old ink etc)

Nice to haves

- Duplex (we don't do much printing, but when we do now, we manually
duplex to save paper which is a bit of pain)
- Compact if possible
- Happy to use draft mode to extend ink life - otherwise fast printing
not massive priority
- Had prefered not an all-in-one UNLESS the inbuilt scanner is
equivalent or better than my Canon CanoScan 8800F, in which case I can
replace 2 boxes with one.

I considered the idea of Laser, but perhaps as I want colour ability it was
less suitable? (though the colour toners in particular would probably last
a LONG time)

Budgetwise, as you can see from light use, aiming at sub £100GBP if poss.

I emailed a few large UK based online suppliers. Only one has responded. They recommended an EPSON
workforce 4025dw. The printer looks excellent, and seems to tick all the boxes, even though its a bit more than I wanted to spend

BUT...its ENOURMOUS! As in, I think it might be showstopper-big. It will sit on the black filing cabinet next to the iMac desk but next to the svelt, tidy, white iMac, it will be a bit of an eye-sore.
