Paper Bags x 2 (Made in Newspaper - Alternative to Plastic) - 18.5 x 12 x 5 cm

Our Newspaper Bags are made by local women in Kodungaiyur in Chennai, Southern Part of India. This eco-friendly product is made from re-used Indian newspaper.

These bags are our most recent project to help impoverished women in India. Ethically India offers local women of poor families in the Kodungaiyur district of the sprawling Southern India city of Chennai a unique opportunity to earn a vital extra wage to give their family a better living standard.

These women work flexible hours from their own homes, at a wage decided by them. These bags are now supplied to many shops across the United Kingdom in place of shop plastic bags as the ultimate solution in eco packaging.

We have 4 different size newspaper Bags. Shipping rate depends on the weight you buy from us. It starts from 1 Bag to 1000 Bags.

*Please note handles may differ in colour.

Newspaper bags are not so expensive nowadays. Use larger bags to store out-of-season items, including Christmas and Halloween decorations. If you have a hobby, you can use bags to separate craft items.

Paper bags may be better than plastic because they won't melt or stick to anything. Recycle broken bags with other paper or use them as wrapping for fragile things you need to mail. If you're storing breakable items in your basement or closet, try wrapping them first with old paper bags to prevent them from bumping or clicking against each other.
