I don't know this nic, but am going to have a guess as I think it's a good idea for a game:

Were all three songs sampled on tracks by other bands/artists? Soho used the intro to How Soon Is Now on Hippy Chick. Don't know of any tracks that used the other two but, as I say, it is a complete guess just to get the game moving

I thought of that Grey, but have never heard of the band Soon? Which era are we talking?? Amazon don't seem to have anything by them. Only a band called Get Well Soon, who I must confess I am also unfamiliar with

It's ok Liq - I'd never heard of them either - but if you click on 'advanced search' and put 'soon' into the artist box - 'Soon' appear on the second page of the search - further research has shown that they've released two other albums but I didn't spot any reviews (not that I was looking that deep).

Well Space Oddity and Bohemian Rhapsody were both released twice as singles and I think How Soon Is Now first saw the light of day as an additional track on the 12 inch release of William It Was Really Nothing, so technically that was also released twice. Don't know whether the same goes for Shakespeare's and Suedehead though and if I may steal a line from our late great friend of the forum, judging by the lack of postee involvement since yesterday, I'm sorry to say I do not see this thread prospering in any case.

You may need to just put us (well probably just me in truth) out of our misery

They all have the letter S in them. This is why Sherlock Holmes reputation will never be challenged by my detective skills.

Hillwalker says:
ok

Each song is also the title of an album by each of those artists - but the song itself doesn't actually feature on the album of the same name

I'll let you set the next one and hopefully other posters will jump in

Hang on - it looks as if we've slid to the other side of the pond.

I thought that Hill got the answer but it appears that Nic is in the chair.

So in answer to your latest question Hill - probably the crowd with the least votes. Not sure if us English (and probably The Scots too) are ready to be governed by Plaid Cymru.
