Well it was fun predicting Liverpool top of the league for a couple of weeks, having just watched the most abject display against Southampton it's normal service (or lack of it) resumed at Anfield. We get live football at 3.00 pm on Saturdays here, used to think it was great getting to watch premiership games when UK can't get them live...not so blooming sure now! Awful doesn't begin to describe it...(and let's be honest they flattered to deceive earlier in the season). But I still have 1-0 against the Mancs to cherish!

Having predicted wins for Liverpool and Newcastle I await with trepidation my inevitable slide down the Punt table to oblivion! :-(

Just the two hours then until Chelsea went top on goal average! Hooray...not!

....oh but hang on, all is not lost! I'll put back the razor blades and rip up the note...United smashed at City (and then some) saves the weekend from total disaster!!! Bliss! ;-)

And well done Kilmarnock eh?

In reply to an earlier post on 22 Sep 2013 23:49:28 BDT
well, at least it wasn't a beating. pascali gave away needless penalty, tho' - going by highlights man utd looked totally disjointed. surprisingly so.

Watched it live tech, RVP in the stands (dunno if he's injured, Portuguese commentator didn't mention it if he is) and United were dire until City took foot of pedal when 4-0 up after around 70 minutes. At one stage the stats showed City 65% possession and 11 attempts to United's 1. Quite amusing to see Moyes moan at linesman or 4th official (a la Fergie) and they just smile at him and shake their heads.

If you fancy a new manager at Killie there's an Italian job hunting tonight and he's not got too far to travel to start tomorrow! :-)

In reply to an earlier post on 23 Sep 2013 00:10:57 BDT
naw, shiels was a loose cannon, but di canio's a loon. mind once at rugby park outplaying celtic (at 0-0) for 70 mins, till they brought on di canio, for him to straight away, more or less, walk the ball into the net.

Well maybe the refs up there will breathe a sigh of relief then eh? See ya tech, up early tomorrow and away to see some sand sculptures along the Algarve at Pera. Go every year, fascinating and really clever stuff, take a look if you've the time. Cheers!
