Sadly I could find no link Phil.

I think I may have saturated the Weston discs with the thrashers music anyway.

Anita, here is the recipe for Linzer Torte as requested

200gms - White flour (sifted)
1 Tsp - Baking Powder
125gms - Sugar
10gms - Vanilla Sugar
1/4 Tsp - Ground Cloves
1 Tsp - Ground Cinnamon
1 Egg White
125gms - Margarine (Cold)
125gms - Ground Hazlenuts
1 Tsp Cocoa
100gms Seedless Rapberry Jam

Mix all ingredients together thoroughly (bar the jam), place dough mixture in round cake tin, using extra flour to avoid sticking., pressing it gently to spread evenly around the tin. Spread jam evenly in the middle, leaving approx 1" around the outside, that can be glazed with 1/2 egg yolk and 1 Tsp milk. Bake at 175- 200c/ Gas Mark 5 on middle shelf for approx 15-20 mins. I check it every 5 mins and cover it with foil after about 10 mins to stop the jam from burning. Any questions please ask. Hope this works for you, TheFoe.

We did have one a while back Trooper but that crafty Foe kept that one up his sleeve, no doubt Deano will be baking a portion by the end of the week, hope he lets on when, it's a damned sight nearer to his gaffe than Foe's for me.

Home safe and sound, sorry I wasn't feeling overly well this time round.

Mark K and I are the only members of the PPU who have managed to make it to all of them, and I'm glad I have. I'm sure MK would join me in agreeing that they go from strength to strength, and continue to grow. Long may they prosper.

Cheesepeeze (?!) You know, about this time last year I was reading a thread on the zon about some guys who were going to get together and go to Weston for a meet up. The idea appealled to me but I was somewhat nervous about going all that way to meet some random strangers who I had briefly traded text with. Up until the night before I was still unsure. In the end I went and am thrilled I did. I remember Hyper telling me he felt the same. I think it's a perfectly normal response but what's the worst that an happen?!

Hi all. Sounds definite that a good time was had. Sorry I had to miss out, and for boring financial reasons too. Buildings insurance mostly... Oxford is one place where I've never managed to stay sober for long. Sounds as though you had the same experience!

In reply to an earlier post on 22 Sep 2010 18:52:08 BDT
Yeah...pity you couldn't make it Leftin!! Maybe next time eh?
