I have 25 million albums all on 180g vinyl, in their original sleeves and shrinkwrapped for protection so i don't actually get to listen to them but damn, they look good and i can show off no-end to 'the kids'

And all i've listened to today is Mercia ******g FM and it's turned my brain to mush.

Enjoy the privilege of listening to what you want when you want while you can boys and girls...

I was just getting ready to write something along similar lines until I came to your brilliant riposte, Sera69. What next, "My ***** is eleven inches long, can anyone beat that"?

In reply to an earlier post on 6 Oct 2008 23:21:08 BDT
Number Six says:
Sure it's not a 12 inch, Hypergod? (fnarr, fnarr)

(Modestly). I didn't say 12 inches, that was Zombie ("ooh, you sneak" etc).
Judge Dread's appalling 'Big 7', 'Big8' etc.
Max Romeo's 'Wet Dream'... "Lie down girl, let me push it up, push it up", which, at the time, he tried to explain was about a hole in the roof letting rain fall on the bed, and he was 'putting up' an umbrella, which, I suppose, isn't really an innuendo but, if you accept his explanation, a sort of reverse innuendo (and the first one to crack the old 'Italian suppository' joke gets barred from.......wait a minute, it was me!).
:woot: :woot:?!?!?!

Sparky, I've hunted and hunted but I can't spot the innuendo in that! (Missing 't' yes, innuendo, no!).
If you're trying to subvert our take-over of the topic and return to the original discussion, you've forgotten to include the obligatory puerile boasting!

Sera69 says:
Soul singer Marvin Sease has a fine double entendre collection, witness 'I Ate You For My Breakfast', 'Greedy Girl' and 'Everything You Eat Ain't Good'

And he does a storming song called 'Candy Licker'

...It's not about candy. :P

Okay, I'm assuming :P is some of this godawful 'textspeak' that i'm too old and sedated to understand? Not to mention too much in love with the English language to use! But :woot:? Help an aged drug abuser out with an explanation please, Sera. (Actually, I'm always very polite to drugs, on the grounds that if I abuse them they are bound to disagree with me when I take them [I'd be inclined to disagree with anyone who abused ME, anyway!]).

(Sorry, normal service will be resumed shortly...)

woot woot:
- An expression of simplistic ecstasy.
- An expression one may utter in complete approval or joy.
- An expression of absolute happiness, totally euphorism.

Sparky says:
Hypergod - thanks for pointing out the missing 't' but it was just a mistake.
No innuendo in my comment I'm afraid; I was only (probably unwisely) highlighting the fact that I had been listening to a ceilidh band cd which is possibly a bit unusual for anyone with any sense. In my defence I picked it up in a charity shop and was interested to see how their versions of a few jigs compared to Steeleye Span's. (Cripes - This hole's getting bigger !). Maybe it was also some kind of inverted puerile boasting. I think the :P is someone sticking their tongue out btw but I too am too old to be certain of anything any more ....

hypergod says:
Sera, 'lol' I understand...after that you're just tormenting an old man and it's not big and it's not clever, so there!
Sparky, you can always edit your post and add the 't'. Have you heard Steeleye Span's a capella version of 'Rave On'?
