Take a look at Xpess' reviews. He really will find fault in anything. Very sad old man who can't stand to see the rest of the world move on without him.

Your first sentence in paragraph 3. The "main land " do you mean Great Britain or Europe?

Hi Patrick. We usually use mainland to describe the UK here in the republic. That is, the part of the UK not including the six counties. They are the north or over the border.

It's used in the North too. Although you have to be careful where you use the phrase 'the six counties' ;-)

Brilliant own-goal by thre Protesters at the weekend.

They prevented the North Belfast derby between the 2 teams top of the league (Protestant fan based Crusaders and Catholic fan based Cliftonville) taking placed.
They did this as they claim 'to protect the interests of the local Skegonill estate'.
The net results was fans of both clubs walkng arm in arm past the protestors and the people of the 'protected estate' being furious with the protesters. At last they have done some good by bringing the 2 communities together. Not what they intended I suspect
