Sadly it seems our society is in the midst of a huge rise in stress, anxiety and depression...great news for the big drug companies who can sell anti-depressants and sleeping tablets to those who suffer...

These problems not only cost the health service in terms of drugs but then we have the armies of CBT therapists as well. Stress, anxiety and depression also cause huge issues within our society like crime, alcohol abuse, drug addiction and violence.

The real problem is the way human beings have allowed themselves to believe "they are not enough, they are inadequate". Most people are very suggestible and have little defence against the mighty machine that assails them every day with images and suggestions about the way they "should be".

There is only one thing we should be...doing...that is...working to escape the manacles of the capitalist-consumerist prison that creates human hamsters on spinning wheels called "being successful" and "making somthing of myself"...

Relax...we need to breathe...stop...smell the coffee..taste the coffee...laugh more....enjoy the beauty of the trees...the sky...yes there are things to be done, but do them joyfully.

This post is useless and does not contribute to any discussion in any way.

It's coming up to 5.49, time for Thought For Today with Sir Simone la Fontainebleu of the British BS Society.

An ocean of wise clichés dear. Time to taste the coffee and then make something of the plants I got 'reduced to clear' in the market yesterday.
