Gordon....please be sensible. We cannot have a black of head of state because all those in line for this job for the fifty years are white.

Like most claims of "racism" these days, this is tripe.
For a start, "will not" does not mean "cannot", nor would it matter greatly if it did.

Gordon, it will happen.... not in your time, which is a shame. Our wonderful royals, God bless them, know how to keep in touch with the times...so they keep their 'jobs'. Charlie is the last of the old stuffed shirts, the new crop are 'cool'. Anyway, you like monarchies - NK, Cuba, Gaddafi's Libya...

A black monarch? How dare you! What do foreign people know of monarchy? They eat horses, not drive them to their deaths in inhumane competitions...Peasants! They protect their land against vermin, they do not dress up and chase the buggers to their death! Uneducated swine...They involve themselves in the matters that concern their nation and actually work for their money... Fools! British monarchy: the last remnant of medievalism...

F. Mundell says:
It is, IMO, impossible to have a society free from elitism and racism when there is any form of genetics based "superiority". Monarchy is RACIST because ONLY descendents from a particular family can ever become the monarch - Which race or genetic line is almost an irrelevance, the principle of royalty carries with it assumptions which are, essentially, extremely right-wing (facist?) - the idea that there are those who, by merit of their lineage, have the intrinsic right to rule others (and, in the case of England, the right to rule the church!) - It would all be a LOL if it wasnt real.

While Britain has a monarchy, it will not be free from institutional racism. I am not saying THEY are racists!

Bow down to those taking your money to live a life better than yours. Celebrate the Jubillee and rejoice in the monarchy's lack of involvement in your society. Not that they care, of course. They "hint" at support but do absolutely nothing to help or support the commoners who pay their way... "Royalty"? Where's my Sniper rifle....=)

Absolutely terrible news: The Queen has to fire two of her servants because of the recession. She has to wipe her own arse now....
