Spin says:
Easy: Democracy can occur under any political system since it is the Majority vote which decides the political and moral system. It is only the democratic process that can eliminate democracy, if only temporarily.

To The Funty,

Penny was being ironic. You, however, in your daydreams, really do run the country like this.

Pen Master says:
To have a happy harmonious state you need to have happy harmonious people. To achieve this we must weed out all those who are competitive or those who have anti harmoniuos thoughts. Those who are too clever must also be re -educated to accept a lower standing in society so that idiots feel good about themselves. Those who want a higher standard of living must be brought to their senses by giving them menial tasks such as toilet cleaning and the like. To achieve full and continuous employment no state owned business must be allowed to fail regardless of how badly it is managed it is or how poor the product is. Of course all state owned companies would be poorly run because only the dimest would be allowed to run them. Wages would also be low because any profits would be given to hospitals etc. so that they could treat the huge number of people injured and poisoned by the poor products made by those guarranteed full employment. Food production would fall because there would be no incentive to be productive or to work on rainy days or bank holidays because extensive human rights legilation would forbid it. In any case most farmers would be in hospital through eating food prepared in poor factories. We would all like to live in paradise but how do you recognise it when you arrive?

Spin says:
Simon: There is no such thing as "democratic capitalism". Democracy and Capitalism are incompatible. The term is used by the machine to fool society into thinking that profiteering is a "democratic" right, a fundamental aspect of human political and social rights and freedoms, which it is not. It is not Capitalism which results in, or maintains democracy, as its propaganda claims, but democracy which allows Capitalism (which is why capitalism favours democratic government, although it will accept any political system that allows it to profit). It is quite possible to have a non-capitalist democracy, despite what our politicians and bankers tell us.

The Funty,

I live in UKeydonkeyland, I don't feel like I<<live in a state of deep inner turmoil>>, I feel relaxed.

It appears that alternative systems (supported by you) don't fair too good either, which is perhaps why many are now no more (Romania, Albania, USSR...) and others are a shambles (Cuba, Venezuela)...but then NK has the 'right' approach eh?

Are you saying that the people in democracies are at 'nappy level', infants needing firm, but loving parents who will tell them what to do and keep them under control until they reach adulthood? That's what they are doing in NK? It will all happen smooth as silk.

Our eyes and ears show us that the western system of democratic capitalism is a total failure in terms of creating a happy, harmonious society. Each nation that follows this system creaks and groans under the strains of stress, anxiety and depression. The people live in a state of deep inner turmoil as their puppet masters drive their desire for more goods....more money...more fame....so.....how can this be changed...can the free market work....yes...but ONLY when people learn the reality of their nature....ONLY when people see the truth about the world....ONLY when the people go from being reactive, suggestible machines to thinking and responding humans...then the desire for more will fade....society will harmonise...crime will vanish...greed will disappear...vanity will leave...pride will float away and never come back...a new world can be created....a world without any isms....no need for politicians, priests....a world of REAL humans...thinking...creative...joyous...
