chicoboy: I dealt with a similar problem by borrowing a 16 gig USB flash memory pen to transfer from computer to computer. I should have bought one, they are not expensive, but I'm a cheap-skate... (And if I can use one absolutely everybody can.)

Don't know where you were on the Canon website but all software is on the link below, just click the software option and pick operating system and language:

Same problem here (don't have the 350D CD) - several hours hunting for a solution and still no luck - canon website provides a few software items, but the EOS Utility still says it needs the original disk.

I had a similar issue when I needed to load programmes for my Canon printer onto my new pc. I'd mislaid the original CD-Rom but I was able to download and install everything, so I was a little surprised to read of your problem.

You don't mention which OS you are using, but I've looked at Canon's support for your 350D and assuming you are running W7, for example, you can download and install everything except ZoomBrowser for which you do need to have a previously installed version. I don't know what programmes were on your original CD, but you can download and install the following: Photoprofessional, RAW Codec, Picture Style editor, and Picture Stitch. For these Canon say it will update a previously installed version, OR, it will install the latest version from the download. You can also download a pdf of the pocket guide user manual.

To be honest, when I used Canon cameras I didn't find zoombrowser much use, preferring my TP image editing software. So not having access to this may not be a great loss.

I mislaid my disc for camera, I take memory card out and out it into a card reader and hey presto. Contacting Canon was a waste of time. Unimpressed with their after care service. I needed original software not update and it wasn't on their website and they didn't want to help. So much for being loyal to them with my cameras
