Just got mine. When the weather is right i am getting into the sea to take some photos. This is one of the items to tick off my bucket list - and i have waited 45 years to take an underwater photo. Its very well built, the fact that it floats is a bonus. The instruction book does not indicate if you have to hold down the macro switch (fish symbol) whilst underwater or not, or do you just flick the switch (to the fish symbol) then release it, to put it in that mode?

Try this:

Part 2 of the manual covers underwater focussing - it reverts to zone focus by the look of it.

I've checked the manual & you do hold down the lever whilst taking the photograph click the second edition English PDF manual it's got more on the under water section
