Does the Nikon D7000 have a screw drive/ is it compatible with 'D' lenses ?

Maybe you can operate a flash via a slave picking up the on-camera flash?

Anyone know how to fit a hotshoe to the Nikon COOLPIX P510 ? and Anyone know if there is an adaptor to fit Contax Ziess lens to any DSLR camera?

Yes, and yes. Have a look at the front view with the lens off. See that little thing at the 7 O'Clock position? That's the AF drive screw.
No idea about fine adjustment, but I'd be surprised if it did have. My money would be on "No" for that question.
