About time too, this has been building up for ages - see
The Roots Of Drone

I've seen how drones 'deliver' in Afghanistan and Pakistan; I'll pass.

and does the drone put a 'not delivered' card thru' yer door, or even just chuck yer packets over the back fence?

And when your rottweiler gets hold of the drone or when it drops the package in your pond or a pile of dog poop ....?
It'd make good sport for chavs with air rifles trying to shoot 'em down as they fly over to the well-heeled suburbs.

When I arrived home tonight there was a letter with 'Package over back gate' written on it. The gate's over 6' high and the package was Skydog: Duane Allman Retrospective (2nd Edition) - good job it was both a dry day and a well-packaged item ...... and that was Royal Mail!

You'd think it was 'April Fools Day'. Or I would, with my extremely limited knowledge of the idea.

Good!

Better than letting Jason 'Spaceman' Pierce sit around all day taking drugs.

Can you keep the drone?
What if you order a drone, would you end up with two?
Do they send an additional one in case of returns?
I don't think they've quite thought it through.

Would an order of a drone come with free delivery...of itself?

I do like the idea though!...I was imagining my regular order of Milk Chocolate Brazils being delivered to me - I could just lie back on my comfy patio recliner with my mouth wide open and it could fly over and around my back garden in circles dropping them one at a time!...Yep! - I'm all for it!!! ;o>

I don't know, I think this idea has got wings.

Clearly blue skies thinking at work. Would it be able to deliver MP3s from your 'Cloud'?

If they malfuntion they may deliver my precious Jazz CDs to a wedding in Iraq, with hilarious consequences. Or just blow me up.
