Rod and the Faces playing football with Jon Peel on miming mandolin.
Alice Cooper's first appearance on British TV. My folks later told me they were worried that they might not become grandparents.

Good show Tig - My Dad was Horrified when Boy George came on TOTP's with Karma Chameleon. Is it a boy? is it a Girl? Ye Gods that's a Man! - Kenny Everett Springs to mind.

Never noticed it at the time as probably too young but some programme or other pointed out that Sandi Shaw never faced the camera, she always turned to one side or other.

Shes the one that sang with no shoes. Maybe showing her best side like the Pav.

Don't recall With No Shoes being a big hit. She did well in Eurovision though, mind you so did Stiff Pilchard so no recommendation really.

Getting off topic a bit here, thought this was Top Of The Pops not Eurovision, but since we're on the subject, don't forget that Cliff Richard sang in Eurovision twice, first with "Congratulations" in 1968 and in 1973, with "Power To All Our Friends". Still think it's sad that TOTP is only on at Christmas now. Did anyone else see the programme "Pop Charts Britannia", recently celebrating 60 years of the Hit Parade? Great way to spend an hour and a half but shown in the middle of the night. Is there a thread on Amazon dedicated to pop videos, especially the animated stuff?
