Hi there

Some of you may recognise this discussion from the summer, I am gutted I missed it as I would;ve purchase them at the time!

Anyway I'm desperate to get hold (all/some) of a collection of CD comps called 'Quadrant Park Classics Collection'.
Discogs lists a few of em but none are for sale.
I checked a website link on another discussion forum for this and they have sold out
in terms of volumes it goes up to at least 15.
If anyone could point me in the right direction I would very much appreciate it as I have been looking for them (off an on) for years!

Sorry Mr Bobat, but I have had a search on the internet and can't find anything. Best to keep an eye on ebay and see if they pop up on there.

Don't know if Blastro managed to get hold of any of them earlier this year - he may be able to help you.................calling Blastro..............................................................

These sites might help. Sorry if you've already seen them.

Ahh, the elusive Quadrant Park set.

Helen - afraid to say I never had any joy in my quest, but shall still seek.

Lez - usually, the download sites are DJ sets; I'm guessing (but I could be wrong) that the OP's looking for the original unmixed CD's.

Mr J Bob - I never had any joy and I been looking for quite a while. Some bloody article outbid me at the last second on E-Bay for the whole set!
Only advice I could give ya is to do what I did; go onto Ebay and look at stuff from a seller called Servinyl. Said seller does DVDs full of hundreds/thousands of tunes, many (not all but many) of these tunes being on the Quad collection. Some of these tunes are vinyl rips and I'd guess not the quality of the Quad CDs, but it's better than nowt.
I got 4 DVDs with about a thousand unmixed tracks for £15. I've transferred the stuff I need to CDs, and whilst it doesn't come close to owning the Quad collection, it'll definitely do me for the time being.
Sorry I couldn't have been more helpful.

Hi Blastro, how are you? I thought for some reason that you had managed to get your hands on some of the volumes. Oh well, keep looking, they may turn up on ebay again.

Not bad thanks Helen, how's yerself? I'm supposed to be notified by Ebay if anyone else puts up the collection for sale and no joy so far. Can be a tad slack with checking my e-mails sometimes tho, so I suppose there's a small chance I missed em. Got a feeling that next time said collection surfaces, it's gonna be 3-or-4 times the price of the set that I narrowly missed out on. Either way it's surely forced to turn up again sooner or later.

I'm suprised that they aren't available as downloads somewhere, but the only legit downloads I could find were already mixed Quad Park "reunion" type things and DJ sets from the 90's.

As far as I know they're not on the illigit sites either, tho my knowledge of such sites is limited to just 3-or-4, and no doubt there's hundreds!

Hi there
thanks for the post. Are you willing/looking to sell?

S. J. Bird says:
Just been looking thru the cd's, volume 4 is actually a wrongly burnt cd, which is actually bizzare inc cd, although it's an original cd with quadrant park logo on, I can't find volume 7, and volume 12 has the cover missing, so basically I have 1,2,3,5,6,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,and15. They are all originals, make me a sensible offer, and I will let you know, cheers

How about 24 pounds for them?

Thought I would send you another note as I had not heard back. Are you still wanting to sell them?

S. J. Bird says:
I know have managed to get them all, I actually have 13 originals, plus I found the missing 2 I had which I had backed up on hard drive, which I am able to put onto 2 cd's if interested. For all 15 cd's plus postage I would want £34, which is only £2 a cd, let me know if interested and I will give you contact info, cheers
