Brass Neck says:
They've added £5 each to the Gregory Isaacs and Johnny Osborne - I mean £15 for a 12" single with 2 tracks? C'mon!

Tech - they're still listing the GI and JO at the Louth shop at £10 each - I could maybe get one of my workmates to pick it/them up and bring them to me, it'd just cost you the postage on top.

Derek W. says:
I was merely pointing out that they've got them, didn't even look at the price as I wouldn't pay 50p for 'em:-)

'brandishing your ten bob bits' - is that like flashing his Eartha Kitts?

In reply to an earlier post on 26 Apr 2014 22:52:15 BDT
thanks again for the offer, brass, but i'd better no - we've just bought a new car and i'll probably be voluntarily jobless in a couple of months - as mrs ts says "we've just bought a new car and you'll probably be voluntarily jobless in a couple of months" :)

In reply to an earlier post on 26 Apr 2014 22:54:50 BDT
it's not that kind of thread :)

"we've just bought a new car and you'll probably be voluntarily jobless in a couple of months" - how many f*&^ings did you leave out? Could have been worse, she could have said 'YOU'VE bought .....

Brass Neck says:
Dunno what prompted them to do so but zoverstocks have just dropped the price of El Rockers - Augustus Pablo to £2.34 from a fiver and they have a second copy, rude not to?

one of my all-time favourite uk singles subject to a re-modelling - Smoking My Ganja - Rootikal Remix EP [VINYL] - no other formats listed - out in july.

Posted on 5 May 2014 13:01:23 BDT
the legendary Under Mi Sleng Teng [VINYL], the record that heralded the electronic age for reggae, out 26 may. it's difficult not to like this.

talisman releasing Hey Yout', backed with the 'oldwah' dub as a single - download only, i think, out on 2 june. excellent choice for a single, and along with b-side (can a download have a b-side?), a taster for their recent magnificent releases.

innaresting download concept - 20 mins of Mr Money Man Riddim - 4 tracks on variation of this rhythm, including the lead track by rod taylor.

naebuddy's gonny buy this noo - Ragga Ragga Ragga 2014 [Clean] - a sticker on a download cover?

talisman's brilliant I-Surrection - Oldwah Deconstruction getting a cd release in june. was under impression that it was to be download only, but obviously there's a demand for this, so that can only be a good thing.

Evolution Of Dub fans - zoverstocks have a bunch of them - £12-ish on ebay, £9 plus post on here, but £6.99 delivered on Play. I already snaffled 1, 4, 5 & 6, sorreeee (and I waited to check they'd taken those down off the other sites so I deffo get them!).

2, 3, 6 & 7 available at the time of writing (I hope they really have more than one copy of 6!!)
