Lez Lee says:
What a really disappointing list, just the usual suspects. What about the more unusual ones like Somewhere In Time, Robin and Marian, Lion In Winter, Girl With The Sun In Her Hair........?
There's only one I'd vote for in this lot!

Collette says:
You could have nommed one of those yourself Lez...:0)

I think 'Statue Dance from 'Deadfall'' qualifies C!!

Lez I think we have to accept that maximum participation by busy posters will lead to the 'usual suspects' being put forward (and probably voted for) - I'm (and I suspect I'm not alone in this) no expert on/possess no/have limited interest in John Barry but he has had a hand in composing a few belters, one of which I've nominated. I can see two tunes I will gladly vote for and they're both 'usual suspects' - c'est la vie.

Collette says:
I didn't mean that, Mr B. I just meant there was nothing to stop Lez from nomming what she's hoping others were gonna nom. The only reason I've nominated here is for Jemma. Like when you had Alice Cooper way back I nommed on it cos it was your choice.

RedAlFire says:
Surely it is mostly the 'popular' tunes that are more likely to get nominated on any artist thread isn't it? There is an awful lot of music that this guy is responsible for Lez, and to be fair an awful lot of it is very good. Modest John had the capability to write music that was very fitting to the theme.

Anyway, please remember the Euro 2012 championships start today - don't forget to nominate before you get caught up in them!

Oh dear, I've had the temerity to post again...no doubt the insidious malevolent one will take further exception....

Johnny Bee says:
Probably no way round it, but by naming the artist that sung the theme tune they, rather than the composition, may well draw the votes (or not as the case may be).

Lez, I could have picked 20+ noms and made a 5-4-3-2-1 list of my own. But SIT still came out first. I think you would like the film, it`s a weepy but beautifully done. ;0)
