As it happens, I can tell you how I did it this time. The only album I have of Morcheeba's is Blood Like Lemonade and I was giving serious thought to the title track (which is very sinister) but then decided I would go for the most cheerful track on the album instead. I thought for sure voters who know the band better than I do would go for the earlier stuff. So it turns out, not merely do I not know much about Morcheeba, I don't know much about why you lot vote as you do either.

Drinks are on me but you'll have to get them yourselves. I'm not squelching through that carpet, picking my way over bodies, peering through the smoke coming from various dubious sources. I'm keeping myself nice in the Ladies Lounge with a genteel sherry. Bet they don't even know what sherry is. Make it a port and lemon.

Val. May I recommend you get Big Calm. I reckon you'd find the consensus among fans here is that's their best.

Thanks for the tip Nuge. I'll add it to the ever-increasing list. These threads are deadly on the hip-pocket.

Lemon???? What kind of new fangled place do you think this is? This ain't no posh fancy cocktail bar you know - have the slops like everyone else and be grateful for it.

Val, you're welcome at Al's 'Vinho de Porto' lounge any time at all. LBV, aged, ruby, tawny, white or pink port available with a selection of mixers - all served at the correct temperature. Lemons picked from the tree, or oranges, limes, carobs or figs if you prefer. Maybe a few delightfully marinated olives with some delicious Queijo de Nisa (cheese) if you prefer savoury...or perhaps honey with queijo fresca?

As for Morcheeba, personally I go against the 'consensus' and just about prefer their Fragments of Freedom album. But as I said in the noms thread, all their albums have plenty enough positives for me that they all deliver - have fun choosing YOUR favourite.

Ah, now that sounds a much more salubrious joint. I can feel the sunshine already. But aren't you the bloke from the Customs & Excise? Where did you say you got your supplies from?
