Blastronaut says:
Sorry folks but I disagree with the lot of ya!
First couple of Oasis albums were pretty good for my money. Yep, the brothers Gallagher are Knob-heads for sure, but the (early) music aint THAT bad.
Nowt wrong with stuff ya can sing along to when yer píssed.

Bet you don't disagree with my suggestion Blastro? Ever tried singing along to Captian Beefheart, bladdered or not?

Blastronaut says:
Can't say I have Spacey, but in Captain's case, would LSD be more suitable than alcohol? : )

Spacepig says:
Good thinking Blastro. Well, it has to be tried I suppose, and if we need a guinea pig, I volunteer my services in the name of duty and commitment to the cause, at great personal sacrifice.

Blastronaut says:
Lol, I'd gladly join ya bud, but I don't think I could handle the comedowns any more. I swear I used to be able to smell that shít coming outta my pores!

Sounds too gharstly to contemplate, Spacepig ~:@[

Its a cracker. Give it a couple of listens before passing judgement. Dont be tense and expect anything, just go with the flow, man....

I find Shiny Beast (Bat Chain Puller) by Captain real nice and accesible.

This is a useless excercise methinks. One cannot compare or rank the Beatles and the Stones just like one cannot compare/rank Bach and Brahms. Furthermore, everything that you don't like subjectively will appear overrated to you. Stop losing your time making such pointless lists and start enjoying your favourite music, whatever it is.

Spacepig says:
Good point Rudy, but when has a useless exercise ever put any of us nutters off having fun?

Peter Lanky says:
"Furthermore, everything that you don't like subjectively will appear overrated to you". Not at all. There are hundreds of bands I don't like and thousands more that I probably won't like because I've never heard of them. I don't class the majority as being overrated though, because their general level of publicity is about right for their worth. You don't hear the media banging on about them on an almost daily basis as they do with the true overrated bands.

"us nutters"? Speak for yourself Spacepig, I'm as normal as the next man!! Got to go because the jelly babies are trying to escape from my cupboard, my special fried rice is moving all on its own, and my Gin is blood red! Actually the last one is true, making homemade sloe gin, I'm a country boy I am, byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...............................

Yes. Distributed in kindergartens, hospitals, prisons and leisure centres. Forcefully.
