When listening to Elton John sing anything (even "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road") realize he was NOT born gay ! Nobody is (mygenes.co.nz) ! The fact that most identical twins (if there is any homosexuality among them at all) have only one gay twin prove this!

There was a tattooed lady on tv last night that had an Elton John obsession. Yeah, she had Sacrifice on the top of her back, the words to I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues further down and lower still she'd got Candle In The Wind.

Thanks for that info, Martin. My mate collects DVD box-sets, and I've bought him some stuff, from both. I didn't know they were different, and I'm not sure he did. Funny though, as I bought him some Danger Man DVDs', American releases (seller never said). So I was going to watch one, but my DVD player said no! His played it, but his DVD player wasn't bought to play anything different to mine, in fact I bought mine off of him. Just to keep on thread, I think Julian Cary might be gay?

As far as I can make out Secret Agent was a follow on from Dangerman made for American TV using the same character,John Drake but moving from half hour to full hour episodes and some other changes but essentially following the original premise of Patrick McGoohan's moralistic hero with a sense of realism compared to The Avengers or James Bond of the same era. Also contained the seeds of what was to become The Prisoner Series, not sure if it was intended to be a direct sequel or just an extension of a similar theme to it's predecessors.Haven't seen any of them for years but still regard them as some of the best television from back then and would like to think they would hold up today in some respects.

Is Danger Man really an Americanisation of Secret Agent? Didn't know that, and I bought it for a mate who wanted either? Not suggesting you're wrong, Martin, just interested.

Patrick McGoohan,American born but raised in Ireland till the age of seven then relocated to England.I assume Secret Agent is the Americanisation of Danger Man.Presumably his mother was Irish Catholic, this being the case no Irish Catholic mother would not dream of her son entering the priesthood so no mystery there. This does not automatically qualify him for being gay so I fail to see how your assertions are quantifiable or justified.Married once and fathered three daughters yet you state " not interested much in females" - based on what evidence? I was also intrigued by your choice of the term "females" and not referring to them as women, does this reveal a leaning towards misogyny in your own psychological make-up.Your predilection and obsession with the famous with homosexual tendencies would suggest something is amiss and perhaps your energies would be better spent in rooting out your own personal demons than delving into other peoples lives fruitlessly. This is meant as a sincere statement for your consideration.

Man of truth says:
Secret Agent star Patrick McGoohan was raised by a woman who tried to make him a Catholic Priest. NO wonder, though married, he was largely gay about women and thus not interested much in females.

A lot realize that twins rarely both gay shows how rare to an individual being gay is.
