Hi guys, just checked in on here, almost forgot it was my turn, no worries Spacepig, thanks for starting it off, when does voting end though? Just so others and anyone new checking in will know.

Some great choices so far, thanks everyone, I'll hold off till nearer the voting thread out of courtesy, hope you all enjoy discovering this band if you aren't familiar with them. Philip B, thanks for the comment

Spacepig says:
Sorry about the lack of info last night telly. You can see the mess I made of only a few sentences last night, who knows what would have happened if I had tried to write out a list of instructions.

Nomming will finish at 12:00 tonight, with voting starting straight after it if I manage to stay sober enough to kick it off. But once the voting is finished for this one I will need to bring the closing times forward a little bit as my work shift changes next week and I have to get up at some ungodly time of the morning. I am looking to close the next few posts at about 9:00 if no one objects to that? Of course, RedAl will be back soon and I am only babysitting this game for him while he is on holiday so he may have to change it back again.

As for the absinthe! Probably just as well I never came across any of that last night. Instead, the local Cork brew (Rebel Red) with a generous addition of Jagermeister done the trick.

No worries Spacepig and thanks again for starting it all off, tbh I'm surprised at the amount of noms already on here given it's the w/end and the Cup Final one at that!

I'll check back tonight and place my nom the, thanks to everyone for participating.

Collette says:
Don't know any TB so I can't nominate. Had a good giggle earlier at the thread title though. Looks like my typing after too much perry. :0)

Gotta watch my broadband usage, Dragon. Only been with BT for a month or so and I've had to up my package already as I was using far too much.

Collette says:
I was with Homecall (now part of TalkTalk). Worked ok until my telephone line went down in the January storms. Had a hideous time trying to explain to them that my phone line was lying in the back garden thus no phone or net. Usual Indian(?) call centre rubbish...like bashing your head off a brick wall trying to explain it to them. D vowed he was getting away from them asap. :0)

I'm tied into this one for a year now I think, Neph. Shouldn't have watched so much Four In A Bed on 4OD and I might have been ok. :0)

I'm with Virgin 35 per month. TV (basic but lots of extra channels inc. Sky Arts), phone and unlimited broadband. With them 2 years and very pleased. Just one blip when I was without TV for 10 hours.

Collette says:
I can't get cable here, Lez, more's the pity. A lot better than my Sky which I was without for almost 3 months.

Posted on 5 May 2012 15:23:00 BDT
Lez Lee says:
That's a shame, Collette. Most people round here have got cable or Sky as reception through the aerial is bloody awful. There are pylons at the end of the road which seem to be the cause.
