Two more great players there, KO. What about another from John Martyn http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOi_wxypeGc

All Along The Watchtower - on soundcloud theres a nice mash up of Dylan singing this live over Hendrix's track - the drums get a bt odd at times but it works surprisingly well - and can be downloaded free - go onto soundcloud and look for two riders, mash, hendrix or dylan and it will emerge....

Saw them at the Riverside in Newcastle, Smitty. They kept playing even as the building was burning and the Fire Brigade was clearing everyone out through the emergency exits. What a great night!

I am jealous, Mondo!

Lee Brilleaux had an amazing voice and menace, Wilko had amazing guitar chops and menace, Big Figure and John B Sparkes were as tight as the boiler on Mallard steam engine. Overall, a mighty group.

absolutely J B - that is the quote I was thinking of - and not the popular computer game of the same name - free copy expanded Sandinista triple album with four extra discs of remixes, demos, and remixes of remastered demos as well....

Center Stage Dvd [2008] - the best context in which to appreciate Tommy Emmanuel's genius
My Feet Are Smiling - ditto Leo Kottke
Cool & Unusual - is there anyone with a better tone than this geezer? I've yet to hear one.
