Thank you, Val for introducing me to this guy. Love the jangly guitars... a bit reminescent of early Joe Henry backed byThe Jayhawks and a voice not dissimilar to Rod Picott. Will try to get a listen to some songs not already nominated but will be voting.

Hi Lez - I found that one but he's playing at some festival and someone (one of the band singing harmony??) just sounds flat to me, whereas the clip on Whispering Bob is live in the studio of one of the breakfast TV shows here and sounds better.

Not sure if it's correct etiquette to plug my own artist but I found another clip on Whispering Bob's site. Although it's a Youtube clip, I couldn't see it on YT. It's a live performance of "Double On The Main Game" - just in case anyone is still looking for something that appeals to them.

A bit busy the next couple of days so I'm going to breach alleged etiquette and nominate first on this occasion, given that I've heard nearly all of the noms for the first time, if anyone chooses to moan about it (as has been known to happen before)...tough!
