Sorry Grimmy I've been struggling like mad with the connection for a couple of days now. The only times I got on to this page there was another tidy up going on!! I did try to post a vote but I'm afraid it wasn't having it (something to do with winds, barometric pressure and seismic activity we're told).

Johnny Bee says:
Cheers Grimmy and all those who voted for whatever.

'1952 Vincent Black Lightning' was the best of the bunch in my opinion but, hey, the electorate has spoken ;-)

Grimmy says:
And the clock has struck. When the dust settles we can see that way out ahead ride the mighty Steppenwolf with Born to be Wild, a true bikers classic, nominated by Johnny Bee. Congratulations and a brand new set of leathers to you. If my addled brain does not deceive me, The Shangri-Las' Leader of the Pack was a close second, nominated by Sparky . Early front runner, Richard Thompson's 1952 Vincent Black Lightning, sadly ran out of gas.
Joe Janiak and the Shovelheads got a bad case of road rash, shame that, as I quite liked the track and had it on my short list for votes; while the Maccabees got a puncture.

Thanks to all those who voted and to all those who laboured long and hard to prevent a six lane pile-up on the vote counting.

Horses and all (well, most) things horse-drawn coming up next.

It's still wrong. Yes it started off as all my fault but some of the 'corrections' are still wrong.
I tentatively put forth :

Manics should be 13
Kraftwerk 10
Roy Orbison 7
Steppenwolf 30
