Love, love changes everything, Hands and faces, earth and sky
Love, love changes everything, How you live and how you die
Love can make the summer fly, Or a night seem like a lifetime
Yes, love, love changes everything, Now I tremble at your name...Nothing in the world will ever be the same

Love, love changes everything, Days are longer, words mean more
Love, love changes everything, Pain is deeper than before
Love will turn your world around, And that world will last for ever
Yes, love, love changes everything, Brings you glory, brings you shame...Nothing in the world will ever be the same

Off into the world we go, Planning futures, shaping years
Love bursts in, and suddenly, All our wisdom disappears
Love makes fools of everyone, All the rules we make are broken
Yes, love, love changes everyone, Live or perish in its flame
Love will never, never let you be the same...Love will never, never let you be the same

(Michael Ball)

(She is still pretty out of it but seems to be getting there, thanks Poppet...x...I don't know why? - but both of us react extremely badly to Anaesthetics so it is always a very scary time requiring full-on nursing care with emergency equipment on stand-by whenever we have surgery. She apparently thinks she is on holiday in Norfolk right now?!! - and keeps asking me to buy her an icecream with a double Flake! - LOL!...I think it could well be another very long and rather interesting day ahead?!! ;o>)

The gas heater's empty - it's damp as a tomb, And the spirits we drank are now ghosts in the room
I'm knackered again - come on sleep take me soon? And don't lift up my head till the twelve bells of noon

Do not forsake me, oh my darlin'
On this, our weddin' day
Do not forsake me, oh my darlin'
Wait, wait along

I do not know what fate awaits me
I only know I must be brave
And I must face a man who hates me
Or lie a coward, a craven coward
Or lie a coward in my grave
(frankee)

In a cavern, in a canyon, Excavating for a mine
Lived a miner, forty-niner, And his daughter Clementine

Oh my Darling, Oh my Darling, Oh my Darling Clementine
You are lost and gone forever, Dreadful sorry, Clementine

(Traditional)

Well, you tell me that your lover has a broken limb,
you say you're kind of restless now and it's on account of him.
Well, I saw the man in question, it was just the other night,
he was eating up a lady where the lions and Christians fight.

And there are no letters in the mailbox
and there are no grapes upon the vine,
and there are no chocolates in the boxes anymore,
and there are no diamonds in the mine.

You don't bring me flowers, You don't sing me love songs, You hardly talk to me anymore?
When you come through the door, At the end of the day...

I remember when, You couldn't wait to love me, Used to hate to leave me?
Now after lovin' me late at night, When it's good for you, And you're feeling alright
Well, you just roll over, And you turn out the light...You don't bring me flowers anymore?

Well, Why Don't You Love Me like you used to do
How come you treat me like a worn out shoe
My hair's still curly and my eyes are still blue
Why Don't You Love Me Like You Used To Do.

Who's that walkin' round here?...Mercy?!!
Sounds like baby patter, baby elephant patter, that's what I call it!

Say, up in Harlem at a table for two, There were four of us - me, your big feet, and you
From your ankles up, I'd say you sure look sweet?...From there down there's just too much feet!

Yes, your feet's too big! Don't want ya 'cause ya feet's too big!
Can't use ya 'cause ya feet's too big! I really hate ya 'cause ya feet's too big!!!

(Six steps back)
Small step for him
(Big jump for me)
(Big jump for me)
(Big jump for me)
(Big jump for me)

I get up, and nothing gets me down, You got it tough? - I've seen the toughest around
And I kno-ooo-ow, baby, just how you feel? You've got to ro-ooo-oll with the punches to get to what's real

Ohhh can't you see me standing here, I've got my back against the record machine?
I ain't the worst that you've seen! Ohhh, can't you see what I mean?...

Might as well jump...(Jump!)...Might as well jump?
Go ahead, jump...(Jump!)...Go ahead, jump...

(Van Halen) ...another of my favourite 'blast-from-the-past' songs ;o>

Johnny Bee says:
The phone calls
Always left me unsure
They'd never say things
Of their own accord

I am preoccupied
I can't get them out of my mind
They are terrified

And if you said jump in the river I would because
It would probably be a good idea
You're not supposed to be here at all now
It's all been a gorgeous mistake
Sick one or clean one or best one God ever made

When I kissed you
You didn't mind
I thought I tasted of too many cigarettes
But you tasted like wine

And I'm not going to change my mind
Just because of what they said
The worm has laid eggs in their hearts
But not in my head

If you said jump in the river I would because
It would probably be a good idea
You're not supposed to be here at all now
It's all been a gorgeous mistake
Sick one or clean one or the best one God ever made

There's been days like this before, you know
And I liked it all
Like the times we did it so hard
There was blood on the wall

And if you said jump in the river I would
Because it would probably be a good idea

And if you said jump in the river I would
Because it would probably be a good idea

whappen to suzy's name?

Pack it up, pack it in
Let me begin
I came to win
Battle me that's a sin
I won't tear the sack up
Punk you'd better back up
Try and play the role and the whole crew will act up
Get up, stand up, come on!
Come on, throw your hands up
If you've got the feeling jump across the ceiling
Mugs is a funk fest, someone's talking junk
Yo, I'll bust em in the eye
And then I'll take the punks home
Feel it, funk it
Amps in the trunk
And I got more rhymes than there's cops at a "Dunkin Donuts" shop
Sure enough I got props from the kids on the Hill
Plus my mom and my pops

[Chorus:]
I came to get down [2x]
So get out your seats and jump around
Jump around [3x]
Jump up, jump up and get down.
Jump
(house of pain)

Well, I came to dance
Yes,I came to dance
It's a rhythm romance
I'm having with my shoes
I came to dance (Nils Lofgren)

Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin
Dance me through the panic 'til I'm gathered safely in
Lift me like an olive branch and be my homeward dove
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love
Oh let me see your beauty when the witnesses are gone
Let me feel you moving like they do in Babylon
Show me slowly what I only know the limits of
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love

Johnny Bee says:
no one comes from here
and so I'm not afraid
everyone's the same as me
we don't talk the same
so we don't talk at all
and our hosts just look on with glee

I'm the bishop of Babel now
so it's low, yes it's low you must bow
though my flock may sneer and mock
I'm the bishop of Babel now

It's a long, long way we're coming from
To send this message across, across
Its been hidden, forbidden, concealed, unrevealed
Its got to come out In the open that -

BABYLON IS FALLING
BABYLON IS FALLING

It was foolish to build It on the sand
Handsworth shall stand, firm - like Jah rock
- fighting back
We once beggars are now choosers
No intention to be losers
Striving forward with ambition
And if it takes ammunition
We rebel in Handsworth revolution
(steel pulse)

Johnny Bee says:
Got a big black dog his name is Dan
Lives in my backyard in Birmingham
He is the meanest dog in Alabam', get 'em Dan

Birmingham, Birmingham
The greatest city in Alabam'
You can travel 'cross this entire land
There ain't no place like Birmingham

(Randy Newman)

Now some say he's doing
the obituary mambo
and some say he's hanging on the wall
perhaps this yarn's the only thing
that holds this man together
some say he was never here at all

Some say they saw him down in
Birmingham, sleeping in a
boxcar going by
and if you think that you can tell a bigger tale
I swear to God you'd have to tell a lie...
(twaits)

She just had an abortion
She was case of insanity
Her name was Pauline, she lived in a tree
