If one downloads music from Amazon can it be transferred on to a MP3 player

It might be helpful to go into more detail. The downloads are in MP3 format. They go straight into your downloads folder. From there you must transfer them into your media player programme. If you use iTunes you just click on a track in the download folder and it will automatically transfer to and start playing in iTunes. You can use the shift key to highlight all the tracks you want to open and then physically drag the lot into your iTunes library or just right click and do it that way. It's a doddle.

You might want to check out as their MP3s are usually in 320kps which is much higher quality (but also takes up more file space) and sometimes much cheaper. Oh and they don't have a programme you have to install first like zon does.

as above, no problems - from cloud via media player to walkman.
