No I'm afraid Knocked Out is correct, SRJ. I heard it on the radio news myself today. Adele's album is now officially the 7th biggest seller of all time in the UK. However, I would beg to differ with the implication of the OP. Dark Side has well and truly established legendary, iconic status and, thus, will continue to interest many many future generations and will, therefore, still be selling long after whats-her-face is well and truly forgotten. Just my humble opinion of course, but I don't think there'll be too many on this forum that would disagree. I've never been a massive Floyd fan so am speaking from what I feel is a fairly neutral standpoint.

'Adele clambers past Pink Floyd on her way to the top of the best-selling UK albums of all time' (The Mirror). Must be true, then.

From the Press Associations release of today...(4 hours ago)

Adele's chart-topping release 21 has overtaken Pink Floyd's landmark 1973 release, The Dark Side Of The Moon, in the list of best-selling UK albums.
The album, including hits Rolling In The Deep and Someone Like You, has now sold more than 4,142,000 copies, making it the seventh biggest-selling album of all-time.
Sales figures from the Official Charts Company show it is also just 12,000 copies away from the sixth best-selling album, Dire Straits' long player Brothers In Arms, and is likely to move further up the chart soon.
The company's managing director Martin Talbot said: "As every week goes by, another record seems to tumble in front of Adele.
"Now, her 21 album has overtaken The Dark Side Of The Moon in the all-time biggest sellers list - and by the end of the week, it may well have overtaken Brothers In Arms, too.
"Then she will have Michael Jackson's Thriller in her sights. It has been an extraordinary 12 months or so for Adele, and it looks set to become even more extraordinary as the days and weeks go by."

Foe, the only way I've found of getting at an old thread is to go to the 'Search only this Forum' box for the forum you think it was on and type in a word, words, artist or song which you think is in the thread you want. With any luck you'll get references containing those words. You might have to persevere for a while!

Good thinking Lez, I knew there must be a way! My brain isn't working properly tonight, spent the best part of 20 mins trying to think of an 80's (?) war series, it was of course Secret Army, which I used to watch as a kid.
