telly addict says:
To be entirely honest SST, I haven't listened to a whole lot of him, always been one of those artists I didn't think I knew much of, but on closer inspection, found I knew a fair bit of his. Bit like Lenny Cohen I've never really investigated his stuff properly either.
I listened to a fair few online before choosing that track, it just stood out for me. I do like Teddy though, and Richard's stuff with Linda. Will definitely be investigating the solo stuff further.

Johnny Bee says:
Agreed. Excellent choice, telly.

Tim - you'll enjoy this. I would have nominated it, but it's credited to Richard and Linda. Chilling stuff.

Are songs recorded by Richard & Linda Thompson excluded, then? If so, I'll change my nomination.

Johnny Bee says:
Sorry - I appear to have set hares running (again).

I guess nominators should just go with what they consider to be, primarily, Richard Thompson songs and I'm sure things will pan out.
