I'm having trouble downloading the second album I purchased. Whilst my first album was downloading (which literally took hours) I purchased a second album, but that is nowhere to be found. I presumed it would be like iTunes, which allows you to download multiple albums at the same time. customer services are closed so couldnt get any help there. Hopefully this is just teething problems and Amazon will sort things out tomorrow. Amazon please improve the speed of the downloads!!

Well I saw Amazon doing this on BBC news website so thought I'd give it ago.
Downloaded Amazon installer.Downloaded one album with 20 tracks took about 5 minutes if that. Once that was sorted, downloaded another album 30 tracks again incredibly quickly. No problems.Amazon installer is key.

Very happy and pleased with what I have experienced.Hope you people sort your problems out there is an Amazon MP3 customer service link in the MP3 section.I have been wanting to download MP3's now being a longtime Amazon customer,I don't have to wait for the postman to lose my CD's now.

Yes.. I agree and I'm a total beginner in this downloading malarky.....but did 3 albums in next to no time.. and had no problem with Installing the MP3 Downloader first either..but then I am a girl .. Absolutely brilliant Amazon.. well done

My first 3 downloads worked fine -now all I get with recent downloads is a message from Amazon Mp3 installer "Failed to add track to download queue. Imput file is either invalid or corrupted"

Just contact customer service. They will make the download link available again in your account page. Mine crashed because of OS problems. I emailed them in the evening and 8am the next day they sorted me out. Well done Amazon.

exactly the same thing happened here - tried 3 times to download anything (and I have the installer downloaded already) - nothing happens when i purchase a song!
won't be bothering again - stick to itunes, it's a much better experience!

I ordered an album and at 3pm it took two hours to download 10 songs,Just downloaded the last two tracks at 12.30 am in 1 minute.I think speeds are all down to web traffic. If you want it quick ,try the middle of the night.

Perry C says:
I have had no problem with speed. I downloaded Christmas album 2007 (4 cd's) in little over 9 mins which was excellent. This was at about 8pm at night.

Just bought my first album, been downloading first track for over an hour now and still incomplete. Called customer services and promised a call back from an 'MP3 expert'.....still waiting. Not impressed so far. If these are teething troubles they need to get them sorted out, otherwise I'll stick to iTunes and play.com.

Bill H says:
This is pretty poor. The downloader would only work after I fiddled with settings for pop-ups, cookies and TURNING OFF MY FIREWALL (!) even though the downloader is on my "trusted" list. Even then I've lost the first 5 albums. This needs fixed this weekend or back to ITunes I'll go. I don't see why I have to make all these manual corrections and also put my system at risk when a downloading program should sort all this for me - why have the program if it doesn't do anything useful on the security/access side?

Downloading speed is bearable but obviously not in ITunes league.
