I downloaded 2 albums, really fast and was impressed with how easy it was, however, I now have a new i-tunes library with only these 2 new downloads on it and I cannot find my old library with everything I've downloaded for the past 3 years on it. I can't synch as this will wipe out my old library. Any ideas?

There's no reason for this. Amazon creates an Amazon download folder next to you Itunes folder. Click on My Computer and then Music (in the sidebar if you're using Vista). You should see Three Folders: Amazon, Itunes and Sample Music. Hope that helps.

PETER CLARK says:
Have you tried i tunes help? - your old library may somehow have got changed for the new one. See if this helps:
To create or use a different iTunes library:
If iTunes is open, quit it.
Hold down the Option key while you open iTunes.
In the dialog that appears, do one of the following:
To create a new library, click Create Library.
To choose a different library, click Choose Library.

I have my downloads in both the iTunes and Amazon folders (the download tool must copy ir across). In an effort to maintain as much free space on my machine is there any reason to keep the content in the Amazon folder?

I just downloaded an album onto my C:\ drive (the default) and cut and pasted it to my network hard disc (where I keep all of my recorded music) and I am now listening to it, so it looks like it is OK.
